As a Security Sales Senior Manager, you will spearhead Accenture Security's growth strategy for Midmarket clients, with USA as the primary focus and the engine driving regional expansion. In this high-impact, client-facing role, you will originate, shape, and close cybersecurity deals that leverage the Accenture Cybersecurity Midmarket offerings.
- You have a proven track record selling security services into Midmarket clients
- You have strong executive presence with CISOs, CIOs, COOs, and Boards
- You have deep understanding of cybersecurity services and the challenges faced by Midmarket companies today Drive Revenue Growth: Own and exceed sales targets for Accenture Security offerings across Cyber Defense, Cloud Security, Identity & Access Management, and Risk & Compliance.
- You will combine sales leadership, security expertise, and strong executive engagement skills to position Accenture as the trusted partner for security reinvention in amongst midsize companies with revenue between $500M to $7B.
The Work
Success in this role requires the ability to collaborate across global teams to deliver integrated solutions at scale.
Drive the end-to-end sales process for high-value, complex Mid-Market clients, from needs analysis through deal closure, understanding client requirements, presenting select solutions and negotiating deal terms and agreements. Collaborate with Mid-Market Sales Engineering during solution demonstrations requiring advanced technical solutioning and ensure a smooth transition to Midmarket delivery lead for client onboarding upon sales closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate & Close Deals: Lead the full sales cycle-from opportunity identification to deal shaping and negotiation-focused on high-value, complex security solutions for Midmarket clients.
- Own and deliver Midmarket security sales targets and revenue growth
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of high-value opportunities
- Lead complex, consultative sales cycles and contract negotiations
- Executive-Level Engagement: Build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders to uncover strategic security needs and influence buying decisions.
- Help develop strategic accounts and partner-led opportunities
- Position security offerings against regulatory, resilience, and risk drivers
- Collaborate Globally: Work seamlessly with Market Unit and Global teams to leverage Accenture's worldwide capabilities and deliver integrated solutions.
- Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market plans tailored for Market Unit, leveraging Accenture's global expertise and local insights.
- Thought Leadership: Position Accenture as a security innovator by sharing insights on emerging threats, regulatory trends, and AI-driven security solutions.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here's what you need
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in cybersecurity sales and origination or business development with a proven track record of closing multi-tower deals with 1-2 years dedicated to the small medium enterprise sector
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in Cybersecurity solutions, functional and technical experience required with strong understanding of core cybersecurity services that are critical to Midmarket - SOC, MDR, Identity Protection, Network Security, Zero Trust, cloud security, regulatory compliance, and AI-driven security solutions, etc.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Professional Skills Requirement
- Exceptional communication, deal-shaping, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with Mid-Size companies.
- Ability to work effectively across USA and global teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
Bonus points if you have
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) are a plus.
