Doughlicious (The London Dough Co.) is a fast-growing, better-for-you frozen dessert brand born in London and now scaling rapidly across the United States. Our product range—spanning Cookie Dough & Gelato Bites and Baked Cookie Dough Skillets—is stocked in 6,000+ US retail doors including Whole Foods, Target, Wegmans, Kroger and more. We are building out a dedicated US headquarters in Cincinnati to support the next phase of growth.
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact leadership role for a proven CPG sales executive who wants to own the full US commercial operation of a founder-led brand at an inflection point. You will take full P&L responsibility for the US business, build and lead the go-to-market strategy, and serve as the senior US leader on the ground in Cincinnati—shaping the team, the office, and the trajectory of a brand consumers love.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full US P&L: revenue targets, trade spend, gross margin, and contribution profit. You are accountable for the financial health of the US business.
- Develop and execute the US go-to-market strategy across all channels—grocery, club, mass, natural, and emerging.
- Lead key account relationships for Whole Foods, Target, Kroger, and other priority retailers. Negotiate annual plans, promotions, and new item authorisations.
- Build, manage, and inspire the US commercial team—including hiring direct reports for trade marketing as the business scales.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and CFO, to align US execution with global brand strategy and innovation pipeline.
- Establish and grow the Cincinnati office as the operational hub for the US business, fostering a high-performance, founder-spirited culture.
- Drive new distribution wins and identify white-space opportunities to accelerate door count growth.
- Lead trade marketing and retail execution strategy, including promotional planning, shelf placement, and in-store activations.
- Provide regular reporting and forecasting to the CEO and Board, with clear visibility on pipeline, sell-through, and market dynamics.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in branded CPG, ideally in frozen, snacking, or better-for-you food categories.
- Demonstrated track record of managing a P&L and delivering revenue growth in a scaling brand (ideally $5M–$50M revenue range).
- Deep, current relationships with buyers at major US retailers including two or more of: Whole Foods, Costco, Target, Kroger, Albertsons/Safeway, Sprouts.
- Experience building and leading high-performing sales teams from the ground up in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong understanding of trade spend management, promotional ROI, and retail analytics (SPINS, Nielsen/IRI, Circana).
- Experience working with third-party brokers, distributors (UNFI, KeHE), and field merchandising agencies.
- Comfortable operating in a founder-led business where speed, ownership, and scrappiness matter as much as strategy.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with natural/specialty channel dynamics and Whole Foods regional/global programmes.
- Background in club channel strategy and execution (Costco roadshows, demos, pack-size optimisation).
