Rate: $90.00 to $100.00/hr. W2

Responsibilities

• Ensure platform uptime, performance, stability, and scalability.
• Design system architecture and mentor peers on design strategies.
• Develop and maintain public APIs.
• Implement robust solutions based on feature requests.
• Engage with big data technologies like Kafka, Hadoop, and Spark.
• Work alongside Data Scientists to create valuable features.
• Collaborate with DBAs to develop ETL and data warehouse systems.
• Automate solutions to enhance service reliability.
• Monitor production systems and resolve platform-related issues.
• Build tools supporting analytics, monitoring, machine learning, and data warehousing.
• Define strategies for networking, backups, and distributed configurations.
• Provision, configure, maintain, and monitor both on-premises and cloud server resources.
• Establish deployment strategies for client-facing and internal tools.
• Enhance alerting and monitoring systems.
• Refactor code to improve performance and handle increased data volume.
• Update integration logic for new products and data structures.
• Create unit tests and ensure code aligns with best practices.
• Document code changes and performance improvements.
• Install and maintain cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
• Analyze business requirements while adhering to security standards.
• Architect, deploy, and administer services across various cloud providers.
• Troubleshoot converge infrastructure involving compute, storage, and network.
• Manage capacity for infrastructure solutions.
• Monitor system uptime and performance, quickly resolving errors.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies to assess operational value.

Experience Requirements

• Proficiency with AWS.
• Experience with Jenkins CI/CD.
• Spring Boot Java development experience.
• Expertise in Apex programming and Salesforce development.
• Knowledge of Salesforce APIs, triggers, and batch processing.
• Experience optimizing code for large-scale data operations.
• Familiarity with integration patterns and external connectivity.
• Strong debugging and performance tuning capabilities.
• Background in software and systems development.
• Linux administration skills.
• Experience with other cloud providers like DigitalOcean or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of IT security best practices.
• Experience using automation tools like Puppet or Ansible.
• Knowledge of container orchestration with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Understanding of computer networks.
• Expertise in server operating systems including Windows and Linux.
• Experience with desktop virtualization.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and identity management.
• Experience in continuous integration and delivery methodologies.
• Ability to leverage open-source technologies and cloud services.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PHP, Python, Perl, PowerShell, or Ruby.
• Experience in automated build and deployment processes and tools.
• Experience monitoring cloud environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Git.
• Experience working in Agile development settings.
• 10+ years in Java application development, microservices, and event-driven architecture with Kafka is preferred.
• Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift Red Hat is preferred.
• Strong Java, Spring, and Spring Boot skills beyond the baseline requirements are preferred.
