Job Summary of Sales Floor Representative
In the position of Sales Floor Representative, you play a crucial role within our team by embodying and showcasing our brand to our customers, fostering engagement and building relationships. Your main responsibility is to interact with customers to provide exceptional customer service that promotes brand loyalty. Your knowledge of the products enables you to educate, inform, inspire, and help customers with their wardrobe choices. By working in conjunction with your leadership team, you will ensure the delivery of a superior customer experience through a comprehensive omni-channel approach.
Responsibilities of Sales Floor Representative
- Always interact with customers and staff in a respectful manner to foster a supportive work environment.
- Foster long-term customer relationships by informing patrons about the rewards they can receive through our loyalty programs.
- Connect with customers and employ suggestive selling methods to drive revenue and provide exceptional service.
- Optimize customer interactions by leveraging all available omnichannel channels.
- Be responsible for personal objectives that align with and enhance the store's overall goals and results.
- Support operations on the sales floor, in the fitting room, at the cash wrap, and in the back of the house as necessary.
- Make it a priority to have a tidy, clean, and organized work center for better workflow.
- Manage all customer interactions and potential return issues with a focus on professionalism and courteousness.
- Achieve operational objectives by executing processes in an efficient and effective manner.
Qualifications of Sales Floor Representative
- Skilled in engaging communication that fosters effective interactions with customers and team members for goal fulfillment.
- Dedicated to enhancing customer experience by offering personalized services both in-store and through remote support.
- Enthusiastic about the retail field and succeed in a fast-paced setting.
- Someone who prioritizes continuous problem-solving and personal development, welcoming feedback and responding promptly and effectively when needed.
- Ready to adapt availability to support the business's operations, which may include working on holidays, evenings, overnights, and weekends.
- Experienced in the application of technology for retail operations.
- Proficient in maneuvering through the sales floor, stockroom, and office, and capable of lifting items up to 30 pounds.
