Sales Operations Contract Specialist

A dedicated person will act as a quality control checkpoint for the approximately 330 ‘non-automated’ Closed-Won opportunities [does not include pre-review of KAP or Core BCC] each period, ensuring opportunities meet internal standards before they impact downstream processes. A new stage will be created in the Salesforce pipeline, “Closed Won – Pending,” that will mimic “Closed Won," in probability; however, only the Sales Operations Team will have permission to move opportunities to “Closed Won” as part of this Deal Desk workflow.

Key Responsibilities

The project person will be responsible for

  • Reviewing Closed Won opportunities for completeness and accuracy
  • Validating attached documentation, including:
  • Contracts
  • Briefs
  • Insertion Orders (IOs)
  • Following up with Sales and Account Management to reconcile:
  • Missing or incorrect documentation
  • Missing PO numbers
  • Discrepant dates between Salesforce and documentation
  • Product discrepancies between Salesforce and the contract/brief/IO
  • Confirming product delivery for Closed Won deals
  • Documenting and escalating recurring issues to Sales Ops leadership, enabling:
  • Process improvements
  • Sales training opportunities
  • Enhanced validation rules and/or automation in Salesforce

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, especially Opportunity and Product objects
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation review
  • Experience collaborating with Sales and cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with contracts, briefs, IOs, and sales documentation
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a task queue.
