We’re supporting a growing organisation that works directly with customers in retail-based settings across Cincinnati. This role focuses on providing a positive customer experience from first interaction through to resolution or purchase, combining service, communication, and sales support in one position.

Full training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates or those looking to move into a more people-focused role.

The Role Overview

As a Sales Assistant, you’ll act as a point of contact for customers who have questions, need guidance, or are considering a product or service. Your role is to listen, understand, and respond clearly — ensuring customers feel supported, informed, and confident in their decisions.

Rather than working behind the scenes, you’ll be front-facing, supporting customer interactions on the shop floor and contributing to overall sales performance through strong service.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Welcoming customers and creating a friendly, approachable first impression
  • Responding to customer questions and providing clear, accurate information
  • Listening carefully to customer needs and offering suitable options or solutions
  • Supporting customers through the sales process in a helpful, service-led way
  • Handling basic customer concerns and escalating when appropriate
  • Explaining promotions, offers, and service details clearly
  • Ensuring each interaction feels positive, professional, and consistent
  • Working with teammates to maintain smooth daily operations
  • Supporting sales targets through quality conversations and follow-up
  • Providing feedback on common customer questions or challenges
