Our client is hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst to support and strengthen their security program. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with meaningful visibility and influence across the company. You will work closely with IT leadership as part of a small, collaborative IT team. This role does not manage people initially, but it offers the opportunity to grow into a key security thought leader as the function continues to mature.

What You'll Do

Day-to-Day

• Respond to and investigate security incidents and events
• Monitor security alerts and support ongoing reporting
• Perform hands-on, operational security work across systems and infrastructure

Longer Term

• Grow with the role as the security function matures
• Help define and evolve what information security looks like internally
• Act as an individual contributor with thought leadership and influence
• Contribute ideas and vision to shape the security program over time

Tools & Environment

• Endpoint detection and threat monitoring
• SIEM and managed SOC partnership
• Microsoft security ecosystem, including Defender, Purview, Sentinel, and E5 security capabilities
• Identity and access management
• Server and enterprise infrastructure security

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Information Security or Cybersecurity
• Experience working within security frameworks such as NIST, CMMC, ISO, CIS, or similar
• Strong understanding of security beyond desktop support, including servers, IAM, and enterprise environments
• Ability to investigate, communicate findings, and recommend practical improvements
• Comfortable leading initiatives and influencing without formal authority
