As part of our continued growth in Cincinnati, we are now hiring a Trainee Sales Manager to develop future leaders through hands-on training, real campaign responsibility, and structured leadership development.

About the Role

The Trainee Sales Manager role is designed to build strong foundations in both sales execution and people leadership. During the training period, you’ll be actively involved in direct sales activity while learning how to support, motivate, and manage a team.

You’ll work across brand awareness campaigns and charity-driven initiatives, helping to increase visibility, drive engagement, and deliver meaningful results for both our clients and community partners. Alongside this, you’ll receive ongoing coaching from senior leaders to develop the skills needed to step into a management role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement & Brand Representation: You’ll lead by example in face-to-face customer interactions, ensuring high service standards and professional brand representation. This includes confidently promoting products while communicating the wider purpose behind brand and charity partnerships.
  • Sales Activity & Product Demonstrations: You’ll deliver engaging sales presentations that highlight product benefits and explain how campaigns support broader community initiatives. Your role will involve refining sales techniques while mentoring others through observation and support.
  • Leadership Development & Team Support: As training progresses, you’ll take on increasing responsibility for supporting team performance. This includes helping to organise daily activity, setting clear expectations, motivating team members, and providing feedback to drive individual and collective results. You’ll learn how to assess strengths, identify development areas, and support performance improvement.
  • Campaign Planning & Execution: Working closely with senior managers, you’ll assist in the planning and execution of sales and promotional campaigns. This includes contributing ideas, supporting event strategy, and ensuring campaigns align with both brand objectives and charitable messaging.
  • Operational Oversight: You’ll gain experience overseeing live events and promotional activity, supporting scheduling, coordination, and on-the-ground execution. This will include supervising teams during busy periods and ensuring campaigns run smoothly and professionally.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: You’ll be trained to monitor sales performance, team results, and campaign outcomes. You’ll contribute insights on what’s working well and where improvements can be made to enhance future campaigns and team efficiency.
