The Manager Solutions Design plays a crucial role in supporting the growth of our Supply Chain Solutions offering by developing and designing new business through:

• Demonstrating an understanding of customer needs
• Designing solutions that deliver financial value to customers
• Providing feasible designs aligned with customer requirements
• Collaborating with the pursuit team to shape win plans consistent with solution design

The Manager Solutions Design is responsible for key activities including:

• Project Management - leading cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of solution development with win strategy
• Maintaining effective communication across all team members as the solution develops
• Meeting frequently with customers and cross-functional bid response team
• Calculating labor, equipment, facility, and expense requirements based on transportation and warehousing design assumptions

Skills and abilities include

• Superb data organization and cleansing skills
• Exhibiting advanced skills using design applications, tools, techniques, and methodologies
• Familiarity with simulation tools, transportation & warehouse management systems, ERPs, Automation, MHE, Visibility Tools, and industry-leading technologies
• Ability to influence project teams using facts, statistics, and analytics

The Manager Solutions Design is aligned by either industry verticals or by design discipline and helps lead the new business pursuit team and individual opportunities.

This role requires expertise in supply chain and transportation solutions, as well as proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and warehouse management operations.
